From now on, it is much easier to find the burial of each hero on the Field of Honor. Thanks to the cooperation of the Lviv City Council and the IT company GlobalLogic, a digital navigation system has appeared here. About 1000 visitors to the Field of Honor have already used the system.

Since October 2024, an information center has been launched on the Field of Honor in Lviv. Center managers help visitors navigate the cemetery and find burials. To simplify this process, the Museum “Lychakiv Cemetery” and GlobalLogic Ukraine and the Lviv City Council created an electronic base and a digital navigation system.

"The Field of Honor is extremely important for all of us. Unfortunately, it increases every day. To facilitate navigation on the territory of the Field, visitors can use the multimedia board and find the burial place by name or the surname of the Hero. After that, the system paves the route to the burial”, — comments Olena Gunko, Deputy Director of the Department of Economic Development for Digital Transformation, Lviv City Council.

GlobalLogic Ukraine engineers have developed software for a digital navigation board. In addition to navigation, the system also contains visual materials of the memorial complex, which the Lviv City Council plans to create.

"We are sincerely grateful to GlobalLogic Ukraine for responding and helping to create such a convenient service, as well as to students of the Interregional Higher Vocational School of Road Transport and Construction, who helped to create a design for an interactive whiteboard and made its use convenient", — comments Pavlo Bohaichyk, Director of the Museum “Lychakiv Cemetery”.
"The information center was an important step in preserving the memory of the fallen soldiers and creating proper conditions for relatives and friends during the visit to the graves. We appreciate the opportunity to be part of this extremely important social project”, — says Ihor Kostiv, Associate Vice President of Engineering, GlobalLogic Ukraine.
