How AI Becomes a Real Work Tool: GoIT Held AI Upgrade Day for 7,000+ Participants
On July 26, AI Upgrade Day took place — an online event by GoIT dedicated to the practical use of artificial intelligence in work, creativity, and everyday life. Participants received tools to help reduce the time spent on routine tasks, boost personal productivity, optimize business processes, and turn AI into a source of extra income or growth for their side projects.
- 7,000 participants — freelancers, SMM specialists, marketers, entrepreneurs, and IT professionals.
- Over 10,000 views of the YouTube livestream.
The AI Upgrade Day program covered key topics: content creation, automation, analytics, coding, and career growth in IT. Speakers from Netflix, DRESSX, Kyivstar, and GoIT shared their own cases and approaches — ones you can implement today, no matter the scale of your project or your technical background.

Ai Is Not About Replacing People — It’s About Scaling Possibilities
During the panel discussion, experts from defense, fashion tech, and telecom showed how AI is already integrated into internal operations, customer service, production, and even field missions.
- Daria Shapovalova, co-founder of DRESSX, shared how AI helps automate marketing and video production — the team creates up to 300 videos a month without expanding staff.
- Ivan Melnychuk, officer of Ukraine’s State Border Guard Service, spoke about AI-guided drones, analytics systems, and digitizing paper-based processes.
- Anna Zaitseva, AI and Big Data expert at Kyivstar, explained how generative AI is transforming internal workflows, customer service, and data analysis.
- Ivan Lapa, engineer at Netflix, shared how AI speeds up hypothesis testing, MVP development, and product architecture.
AI Is Already Shaping the New Content Economy
Maria Hrytsenko, an AI content creator, demonstrated how AI changes the game in visual design, video creation, and communication campaigns: “Being an AI content maker isn’t just a trend — it’s about freedom. Freedom to create, promote, and earn. And this job is being shaped right now.”
She showed how tools like Midjourney, Ideogram, Krea, Kling, and VO3 can already generate viral content, ad creatives, and full-length videos with characters and storylines.
Ai Agents As A New Work Tool
“We tend to overestimate what new tech can do in the short term — and underestimate what it’ll change in the long run,” said Oleksii Minakov, AI consultant and former Code Global lead.
He outlined the role of AI agents in transforming workflows and demonstrated tools like ChatGPT Agent, Genspark, and Manus — already in action. These agents analyze resumes, generate presentations from video links, build content plans based on LinkedIn profiles, make calls, draft email replies, and optimize meeting calendars.
Programming + AI: A New Formula for Developers
Volodymyr Melnyk, Director of Engineering at GoIT, emphasized how product development is evolving: “Programming today isn’t just about writing code — it’s about managing AI that writes the code. It’s a new model: programming + AI. Let AI handle the routine. People focus on the complex.”
This shift isn’t about replacing developers — it’s about upgrading their role. As the speaker noted, choosing tools today is about finding what truly works for your case.
For the first time, GoIT unveiled its own AI product suite — a set of tools that help automate tasks, create content, and grow careers in over 90% of modern professions. The product lineup includes: AI Content Maker, AI Marketing Specialist, AI No-Coder, Prompt Engineer.
